here is nowhere to buy wooden outdoor furniture of the same quality and for the same price. Nowhere! I own at least 8 pieces of Baldwin lawn furniture: two picnic tables with benches, a loveseat, two gorgeous adirondack chairs and a couple of other misc. tables and chairs by the pool. This furniture is so sturdy and dependable - and the design is fabulous! Check out their website, or sit in the furniture in person at North Cove Outfitters in Old Saybrook or at Baldwin in Middletown. You will be 100% sold. Our pieces have weathered wonderfully, and we leave them out year round. In the spring we pull them into the driveway one day and give them a good wash and put a quick restain on them. This is MINIMAL work, I assure you. And the furniture receives compliments from our guests year after year. This is a great family company with a great product. GREAT!

Max, What's the status on the wood that I ordered for the stairs? By the way, the pergola went up without a hitch. Very nice. Looks great and was a joy to assemble.

It was such a beautiful day on Sunday I had my coffee under the pergola and Sunday night we ate dinner under it. We never spent any time out on the patio in the past.

Finished pergola is beautiful. Neighbors have commented very positively. View of yard from inside the pergola is difficult to describe. Can 'look through' the pergola lattices, but also 'look' out the 'windows' onto the garden. Very three-dimensional experience. One neighbor said that if he lived in our house, he would sit and read every day in the pergola.

I set this up by myself in two days (using sawhorses to brace the uprights) and although I'm reasonably handy, I'm no carpenter! All in all it was an excellent experience and my hat's off to you for being able to construct and ship such a good kit. Even considering the shipping costs, there is no way we could have purchased lumber and paid people to construct something like this for the same money. We're considering doing another identical unit in the opposite corner of our courtyard. Well done. And good luck in this economy!

Hi Max The pergola is awesome. It really fills a design flaw and completes the section of the house where it sits. We moved a table out and enjoyed dinner under the pergola facing the garden last night. You guys did a great job and the quality of your work is outstanding. I just want to tell you working with you and putting up the pergola was a pleasure. It went together like a dream and you have obviously put a lot of thought into the design and the way everything fits so well. I must admit, before my neighbor approached me about this project I didn't know what a pergola was, at least not by name. Now I know and it has been great to be part of this project.
