Hi Max The pergola is awesome. It really fills a design flaw and completes the section of the house where it sits. The pergola is the focus of our garden and patio area. It succeeded in bringing it all together as we had hoped! The shade is more than ample. I do not believe that I would change any of the specs or proportions if I had a chance to alter the order. It worked out marvelously and have received tons of compliments! It was such a beautiful day on Sunday I had my coffee under the pergola and Sunday night we ate dinner under it. We never spent any time out on the patio in the past.

I was very impressed with how easily the assembly went - the process was intuitive, every part just dropped into place.
