Max, We couldn't be any happier with our new Baldwin pergola. We get a lot of jaw dropping when people see the project and they are drawn to the pergola. The service and quality you provided was outstanding. Our landscaper and his assistant did the construction of the pergola in only 4 hours. It's amazing the "warm" feel the structure provides even though it is so open. My wife and I sit out and chat for hours every night. Looking forward to ordering some Adirondack chairs soon. I recently purchased a pergola kit from Baldwin Pergolas. It was a large custom pergola measuring about 16 by 36 feet. I am totally happy with the materials, workmanship, and customer support provided by Baldwin Pergolas. My wife and I were able to assemble the pergola over the course of a few days. (With a little help from two neighbors on the first day.) We found that everything fit together exactly as planned. Everyone who has seen the pergola, including our neighbors, and the building inspector (!), has been very impressed with the design of the pergola, the quality of the materials, and the precision of its construction. Dear Mr. Baldwin, The Pergola is everything I had hoped for and exactly what I ordered. You did an AWESOME Job and the masons are almost finished with the stone work. Firstly, the pergola is the focus of our garden and patio area. It succeeded in bringing it all together as we had hoped. The shade is more than ample. I do not believe that I would change any of the specs or proportions if I had a chance to alter the order. As you can see by the shot of our boys sitting on the steps, that it worked out marvelously... All in all, we have received tons of compliments. Your attention to detail and quality construction is to be commended. Given the intricacies of this project and the need for it to be assembled, areas which were tight and snug needed squeezing here and there, but that is all. I'll be in touch soon.

Before I made my purchase decision, I did get a quote from a local, highly-regarded pergola constructor. Baldwin's price was lower, and from what I've seen, I think the quality is higher. In summary, I'm pleased with how the pergola came out, and satisfied that I choose Baldwin as my supplier.

Thanks Max. I'm glad you like the photos. We enjoyed working with you and your company even though it was long distance! We absolutely love our new outside room and so do neighbors walking by. The Pergola is GREAT! What a difference it makes to the house ... inside and out. The height (for this sized Pergola) seems like it is matched up perfectly. The effect is a room outside the house. Let's see how many 'Wow's' we get Friday night. You should have left some of your business cards. My daughter (Sarah) loved the butterfly joint!
